HI, I’M REBECCA! YOUR TYPE A, NATURAL GLAM MAKEUP SPECIALIST

Skincare addict, organisation nerd, and lover of making life look aesthetically pleasing wherever possible. Very Taurus of me.

I’ve been a makeup artist since 2007, and still genuinely love what I do!

My love of makeup actually started really young because of my vitiligo. I was born with it, and as I got older and lost more pigment (I now have none of my natural skin tone left) makeup became something much bigger than just products to me. I became obsessed with colour theory and the impact makeup can have on your confidence.

My makeup style is natural glam, with a focus on expensive-looking skin. The kind that still looks like skin, lasts through happy tears and photographs like a dream.

Over the years I’ve worked across fashion, television and bridal, both in the UK and internationally, but bridal will always have my heart. And after hundreds of weddings I can confidently say that your bridal makeup artist becomes so much more than the person doing your makeup, so I’d say it’s important we’re a good match right…

MY FAVOURITE THINGS

When I’m not doing makeup, you’ll probably find me going down a rabbit hole with my latest holistic wellness obsession, strolling around a market town with my husband and 6 year old daughter Aubrey, reorganising a drawer that absolutely didn’t need reorganising, or browsing the boujee farm shop I spotted on the way home from your wedding.

Black is my happy colour. Neutral period interiors calm my nervous system. And Thai food is, without question, my love language.

My ideal night in: Zipped inside my sauna blanket, wearing an LED face mask, watching Dragons’ Den while sipping kombucha and mentally redesigning a room in my house.

I’m usually the first supplier there on a wedding morning, which means I’m also…
bringing the playlist (20% lo-fi, 80% 00’s singalongs), calming nerves, keeping everyone on schedule, steaming dresses, handing out tissues and reminding you to drink water.

Basically, somewhere between makeup artist, bridal PA and extra bridesmaid.

If you’re looking for a bridal makeup artist who’ll make you feel looked after, organised, genuinely calm and effortlessly polished… I think we’ll probably get on very well.
